Location
District Karauli Hq. is connected with NH 11 ( Jaipur - Agra Highway) by karauli-hindaun-mahua link road and with District dholpur to its east by karauli-badi-dholpur road. In its south District Hq. is connected with District Sawai madhopur by Karauli - Gangapur city link road. All Sub division and tehsil hq. are connected with district hq. by roads. Railways Broadguagc line also touches the district at Hindaun city Rly Station in between Delhi-Bombay route.
